Strategic defence and security advice for an EU member state
When an EU member state opened a public consultation on how to enhance its national security, Plato Group's national security experts provided strategic advisory services and a set of tangible defence and security proposals. We developed the strategic case and were invited to face-to-face meetings with senior members of the government, where our findings were presented directly.
Several of our proposals were subsequently adopted and announced as part of the country's national security strategy. Our advice spanned strengthening security and defence cooperation with regional and international partners; improving defence command structures; engaging the private sector to enhance national economic resilience; and defence financing.
